Quinn Rivet was born in Hamilton, Ontario - Canada, the youngest of seven children.
Dr. Rivet graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1994, he was student council president for the year 1992 and class valedictorian along with Dr. Ruthann Baron.
From 1997 to 2002 taught nutrition, genitourinary disorders and was a senior clinical supervisor at the college were he also finished his thesis on Naturopathic Applications for Kidney Disease. He held private practice in Hamilton and Toronto for 8 years before transferring to Vancouver in the fall of 2002.
He now Teaches Pathology, Nutrition, Geriatrics and Genetics and is a senior clinical supervisor at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, British Columbia where he holds the chairs of Nutrition and Senior Clinical Examinations. He is an adjunct professor at Bastyr University in the State of Washington U.S.A., and The Canadian College of Naturopathic in Toronto, Ontario, Canada were he lectures to senior students on Naturopathic Nephrology (kidney disease).
His special clinical interests include; kidney disease, patients preparing for surgery, especially joint replacement (arthroplasty) and pediatrics in which nutrition and classical homeopathy are the main therapies used for the latter.
All naturopathic therapies (modalities) are used including acupuncture, chelation and neural therapy.
